Audio seems to be one of the most challenging areas for beginners and even experienced filmmakers alike. Video professionals typically find sound one of the most challenging aspects of production.

This Location Sound workshop will focus on both mixing and recording sound tracks. This workshop will look at a variety of microphones and techniques, as well as the theoretical background information needed by the film school students. The course is aimed at the film students to improve their sound mixing and recording techniques. This workshop helps the students looking to find out how to get better sound for their films.
This workshop is lead by Mr Elangovan, Chennai based Sound Recordist. Elangovan graduated from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He has more than fifteen years of experience in all genres of film and video. Elangovan has worked with various Indian and foreign film crews.
